Is MX Merchant a replacement for eMerchantView?
Yes. If you are using eMerchantView you will still be able to use it until product end-of-life. However, we recommend you migrate to MX Merchant to take advantage of its many features and benefits. For the moment both products have similar data offerings but MX Merchant will be continually enhanced during 2009 effectively making eMerchantView obsolete.

I am already PCI-DSS compliant; do I have to use your scanning and SAQ?
No. If you are already compliant and/or are using another scanning vendor you can simply log on to MX Merchant.com and upload your SAQ and latest scan results into the system. Once verified by our security staff you will not be billed the PCI Non-compliance fee. Results need to be uploaded annually or upon amendment for the SAQ and quarterly if you require scanning. Failure to do so would result in the PCI Non-compliance fee being levied to you.

Do all merchants need to be PCI-DSS compliant?
Yes.

What happens to PCI-DSS compliance if I close my merchant account?
If you are compliant you will remain compliant and can use your reports to prove it. Additionally, you can continue to perform your scanning and SAQ via our website even when your merchant account is closed.

If I select the breach insurance option will the policy be written to me or to Priority Payment Systems?
You are the policy holder.

What happens if I never complete the SAQ?
After 60 days you will be billed the PCI Non-Compliance Fee monthly until compliant. If you get breached during that time you would be responsible for any associated fines and direct cost of the breach.
